I recently had a major liver operation and throughout the process I can say that Dr. Rakesh Rai explained everything to me and my husband in a way that we understood the situation. Aftercare was amazing and he was always contactable. Even though the operation did not go to plan, I thank my oncologist in finding a great surgeon. Thank you Dr. Rai!

Dr Rakesh and the staff involved at Kings College Hospital, Dubai Hills exceeded my expectations, and turned what could have been a stressful experience (appendectomy) into a comfortable one through their professionalism, care and patient centricity. They were proactive and forthcoming with the steps necessary to investigate & identify the cause of my symptoms (severe abdominal pain in the lower mid-section of my tummy, nausea, and feeling very hot), diagnosing & addressing the problem quickly, and applying the appropriate solution without delay. No surgery is without risks, but because of the amazing care and experience, I was able to maintain a positive frame of mind throughout. Thanks Dr Rakesh for your care and expertise, and for always listening.

Dr Rakesh Rai was absolutely amazing! Two weeks ago he removed a benign tumour from my liver. A major surgery that wasn’t an easy journey to go on but Dr Rakesh did a fantastic job, not at just removing the tumour itself but also listening to my concerns, putting my mind at ease and being there consistently through my recovery period. He made this extremely challenging journey a whole lot easier, always there to answer any questions I had and his upbeat attitude was always appreciated. Can’t say enough good things about him. Thank you Dr Rakesh Rai 🙏
